I’m an artist and spatial designer based in Salt Lake City, with a background in architecture. I create murals and intentional spaces for Airbnbs, commercial, and residential projects across the western U.S., collaborating with brands and clients to bring creative visions to life.

Karen O’Connor is an artist and spatial designer based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the founder of Allpa Leon Studio. With over a decade of experience in architecture, she brings a refined understanding of spatial composition, form, and design into her work.
Her portfolio includes more than 30 murals across South America and the United States, where she integrates art seamlessly into residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces. Viewing each project through an architectural lens, Karen creates environments where art and space exist as one cohesive experience.
In addition to murals, she develops interior concepts for Airbnb properties, boutiques, and hospitality projects, partnering with clients and brands to deliver distinctive, thoughtfully designed spaces. She has also provided live illustration experiences for corporate events, weddings, farmers markets, and festivals across the western United States, bringing a unique and engaging artistic presence to each setting.
